The Foreign Language Education Center at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(Seoul Campus) is looking for a qualified candidate to teach Communicative English classes. Communicative English classes are mandatory classes designed for first year students.

Application Period: April 5 to April 19, 2017
Interview dates: Candidates should be available for an interview (in person or online) as early as April 28, 2017.

Job Description:
Teach Communicative English classes to university students
Teachers are required to teach a minimum of 12 hours (overtime is offered occasionally)
16-week semesters
One-year, renewable contract
Non-tenure track

Only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree (degree holders in English Linguistics, English Literature, English Interpretation, or English Education preferred), plus a minimum of two years’ experience at a college or university.

-Monthly salary of 2,430,900 KRW for 12 hours a week during the semester, plus a monthly housing stipend (800,000 KRW per month)
-Depending upon the quality of the journals in which one publishes an academic article, a certain amount of remuneration will be awarded
-Paid vacation
