The teaching salary for each position varies based on the school.
You are eligible for an E2 teaching visa in South Korea if you meet these qualifications:
Must be a citizen from the United States, Canada, England, South Africa, or Australia or New Zealand.
You must also be fluent in English/native speaker.
You’ll also need to answer these questions in your application:
When is your available starting date?
Have you prepared all your application documents?
What is your nationality?
How old are you? Year you were born.
Do you have any body art or tattoos, which are visible and cannot be concealed by clothing?
What teaching experience do you have? For example, have you taught in a classroom or volunteered teaching?

These first two jobs are located in Seoul:
International School Job #003
This teaching position is located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The teaching hours are from 9 am until 6 pm.
The salary is 2.3 to 2.5 million KRW per month.
You’ll work with elementary and middle school students or adults.
You’ll teach Science and Math subjects (in English).
The school offers a housing allowance (to be disclosed during the interview process).
Your Korean national pension plan payments and medical insurance will also be covered 50% by the school.

This teaching job is in Nowon, Seoul.
You’ll teach from 2 pm until 10 pm, 10 am until 4 pm and 11 am until 5 pm on Saturdays (just two times per month).
The teaching salary range is between 2.0 million KRW per month up to 3.5 million KRW monthly depending on your qualifications and experience and school.
The students are both elementary and middle school level.
The academy will provide housing for one person. Your apartment will be completely furnished.
Should you not require housing, a housing allowance is offered.
Also, your Korean national pension and health insurance is covered 50% by your employer.
Here is how the ESL teacher hiring process works at HiKoreaEdu:
Once your visa documents are prepared, it will take between 4 to 6 weeks to receive your E2 teaching visa.
Please note the length of the visa processing period from the time you apply.
We will do our best to process your visa as efficiently as possible provided you give us the correct documents.
- Fill out the online application on our website.
- We will suggest a suitable teaching position based on your education, experience, and preferences.
- We will set up interviews between you and the relevant schools.
- You will get a chance to check the contract the school is offering.
- If you wish to sign the contract, we’ll need your visa documents sent to the HiKorea Edu office.
- We will bring the visa documents to the Korea immigration office.
- You should then look into flight information and purchase an air ticket to Korea.
- You will arrive in Korea.
- The HiKoreaEdu staff will pick you up at the Korea airport and take you to your school and your apartment.

This teaching position pays 2.1 M KRW per month. The students are kindergarten to elementary kids. The teaching schedule is from 9:50 am until 7:20 pm.
You’re entitled to paid housing (single) with furniture as well as Korean national pension and health insurance coverage paid by your employer at the rate of 50%.
Teach English in Busan, Gyeongsang province Korea
The teaching hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:30 am until 7:30 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 am until 5:30 pm. The students are kindergarten and elementary kids. The monthly pay is between 2.1 to 2.2 M Korean won.
Housing paid by your school and 50% of your health insurance and pension plan are picked up by the school.
Teaching in Cheongju, Chungcheong province Korea
You’ll teach from 9 in the morning until 6 pm at a public school. The students are elementary to middle school children. The salary range is 2.2 to 2.5 million Korean won per month. This job starts in October, 2016.
